Promising Practices is the printed newsletter of the OCDE Educational Technology Department. A copy for every teacher in Orange County is printed and mailed to school districts three times a year in Spring, Summer, and Fall editions.

Each edition of Promising Practices includes updates about the department and services available to Orange County Educators. Recurring sections include videoconferencing, special programs, course spotlights, and the featured Educational Technology team member. Starting in the summer of 2005, Promising Practices also offered a community highlights section to showcase innovative uses of Educational technology throughout the county.

The centerfold of each issue is the schedule of classes offered in the Educational Technology training labs at the Kalmus site.

If you have questions or comments about Promising Practices, or if you are interested in contributing to the community highlights section, please contact Ranjit Mayadas.
